Getting your medical marijuana card is simple, fast, and affordable. You’ll need a recommendation from a licensed California marijuana doctor. However, you can schedule an in-person or online appointment. If you are approved, the doctor fills out a recommendation form that allows you to apply to the state. You’ll need proof of California residency.

How to Apply for a Medical Card

Once approved, you then register with the state and submit an application. After the application is processed and you’re notified of your approval, you’ll receive your card by mail. Re-certification is required by law every other year.
